Curries at Masala & More

Last updated: 30 October 2026

We cook everything from scratch in one kitchen, with real ingredients and masalas we grind ourselves. That also means we handle milk, gluten, nuts, soya, sulphites, fish and shellfish every day. This page explains how we work with allergens and how you can order safely.

Tell us before you order

Please always tell our team about any allergy or intolerance before you order – in the restaurant, by phone, in the notes field when ordering online or in the message box when booking a table. We will guide you to suitable dishes and tell the kitchen. Do not rely on menu symbols alone.

Allergen symbols on our menu

Our printed menu and online ordering page mark dishes with these symbols:

  • Gluten – wheat flour in naan, kulcha, paranthas, samosa pastry, batters and some sauces.
  • Dairy – milk, cream, butter, ghee, yoghurt and paneer. All naan breads contain milk.
  • Nuts – cashew and almond are used in some rich gravies and desserts.
  • Soya – in some Indo-Chinese dishes and sauces.
  • Sulphites – in certain dried fruit, pickles and vinegars.
  • Seafood – fish and prawn dishes.
  • Vegan – prepared without animal products.

Cross-contact

Dishes are cooked in a shared kitchen using shared equipment, fryers and the tandoor. Despite careful routines we cannot guarantee that any dish is completely free from traces of an allergen. If you have a severe allergy, please speak to us so we can tell you honestly what we can and cannot promise.

Vegetarian, vegan and halal

About half of our menu is vegetarian and many dishes can be made vegan on request – just ask. All chicken, lamb and meat we serve is halal.

Spice level

You decide your own spice level when you order – mild, medium or hot. Some dishes are naturally rich and mild (Butter Chicken, Dal Makhni); others are made for heat. Our team is happy to advise.
